I'm not a massive fan of cheerleaders as I don't think any of us need someone telling us to cheer when we score.

However I think ours need looking at as its makes us a laughing stock and its cringe worthy watching girls dance way out of time looking tangoed.

Why can't we have a professional outfit who can dance well AND look fit. Stick some lads in there for the girls as well. If we want to be fair to both sexes I don't mind, I know what I'll be looking at. When we see other teams with good looking cheerleaders who can dance well, I think we've all thought 'why can't we have them?'

Better still, hire the Gillette fusion dancers from the four nations final... they were something else.

isn't that a similar purpose to what you use the drum for? It starts a chant, thus encouraging people to cheer/chant?

I don't use any kind of drum, I just don't mind them.

That's a fair argument I suppose. Though we don't need drums to make us cheer when we score do we? The cheerleaders only dance (I use that term loosely) when we score.

If we are being politically correct surely we need cheerleaders of all ages, 16-60.
