Quote 1905="1905"The problem I have all of this is that it is pure conjecture. Not one person on this board knows what the situation is regarding Wigan’s salary cap. So why make up these allegations up? I don’t understand it. Even if, in the future, they are found to be over, it doesn’t change the fact that you made it all up in the first place.
Or perhaps I am wrong, and you do know something?'"
I'm hoping you have quoted the wrong post and are having a pop at Padders.
as I havent stated false salaries or that i know so and so and he's on x amount.....or said they are definitely over by x pounds.
I saw the story at my desk this morning and my first reaction was "where have they got the money from for that?" (money being salary)
Im pretty sure ive seen a piece early on in the season where they (the Wigan club) said they were at full cap or no room on the cap for signings. i'm certain ive seen apiece where they utilised the rule allowing them (and other clubs) to exceed the cap in order to retain English players i.e Sam Tomkins.
But it doesnt change the fact that Wigan have the same ambitions, playing squad, and clout in signing players as we do. And if i thought (clue "thought")we where going through a season hoping to win stuff with enough room to make a quality signing half way through the season i'd be asking serious questions about the allocation of our funds....
its not an unreasonable Query Maybe Padders goes about things the wrong way
its the Same for Hull by the way before pie eaters get excited.
I again have read they like us are one of the teams operating at full Cap so where do they fit Ryan McGoldrick in, granted he wont be on a lot but a full cap is a full cap.
