haven't heard anything about higham with an injury? anyone else?

We have several players who are not at their best at the moment. I don't know if they need a rest, kick up the backside, or more game time to get back to full match fitness, I suspect it’s the latter with some of them and don’t think we’ll see too many changes.

Even seasoned professionals go through periods where their confidence and belief in in themselves suffers. I suspect TS will know which ones will benefit from support and which ones need a bit of a wake up call.

I'd try and rest Waterhouse on Thursday. He's done the full 80 v Wigan and Saints and put in some really big defensive shifts. Ben Westwood returns on Thursday so I would be tempted to rest Trent ready for Monday.

Carvell needs more game time for me...needs to put in some basic hard graft..and build up his confidence again...so he must play.

Dropping senior players who are out of form is the wrong thing to do, let them work through it. They will be aware of what they need to do.

Don't underestimate the influence of Ben Westwood coming back into the team as well, far and away our best player at the moment.

Everyone will be well aware we are failing to meet the standards we set last year....they must be given the chance to put things right on the pitch. The coach has a big part to play in getting our focus right and concentrating on building a solid foundation in a match before the expansive switch is turned on.

Simple, error free display should be the target. No offloads within 50 yards of your own try line

Having Westwood back is a lift for us i'd say, drop Waterhouse

considering TS is watching the same games as us, & seeing the problems this suicidal style of rugby is creating, that he would have asked the team for a different approach as long ago as HKR game.

TS also sees them training each day, perhaps its coming off gd in training but not in the match?

I'd potentially give O'Brien a gig at halfback and have Myler come off the bench as halfback/hooker cover.

Restore Bridge to centre, Blythe's not a top end SL centre (I'm not sure still what he is) and keep the rest in tact, it's a shame for Williams who's knocking on the door. Westwood back in for Cooper.

Get back to Morley & Carvell starting and have Coops & Hill off the bench as rotation props.
