Thought he did it in the Cup the following week??......As for 'ripping Cas apart'??....Slight exaggeration - Cas were awful and literally rolled over. My Grandad at 7 that night would have ripped Cas apart and he's been dead 35 years.

I'm not knocking the lad, but he's totally unproven.....The experience at Widnes will be good, but I'd prefer him to be slowly blooded into OUR side, behind a strong pack, rather than getting busted week after week behind a mediocre bunch of forwards. - It won't do his body any good getting battered by ravenous defences.

I would have thought that if we had learnt our lesson from last season, it would have been to keep players fit and fresh for the play-offs??.....The likes of O'Brien would be valuable to make sure guys like Briers and Myler are ready and firing come September and October??

You only have to look at how some of the other loanees have gone and then come back better for it - Coops, Riley, Blythe.
TS seems to have a great ability of ensuring they don't feel like 'cast offs' when they go out on loan and that's really unusual.
Good to think that there's some real pressure on Myler - even though we paid a lot for him.

i think this move will do him the world of good..... he isnt going to get into the halves at warrington..... he is obviously a brilliant player..... this experience in SL will be just what he needs, and what we need... gareth will be a half for wire soon... this exposure to SL can only be a good thing for his development.

I think it's good for a lot of the younger guys to go to a lesser club to probably appreciate what they have at Warrington. I presume the Coops, Rileys etc must have seen the facilities, coaching, environment etc and realised just how good Warrington is comparison. It probably makes you even hungrier to get back and succeed when you see the other option.
