| Ratch - solid in defence, dealt with kicks, returned the ball with intent and very creative
Westwood - work horse as ever nuff said
Tough one for third briers may pip it very creative as usual guided team round the park seemed to be attacking the line more than has done and again caused problems

| Evans, Morley, Ratch, in no particular order. Rhys looks completely at home in the side, very exciting prospect.

| Bridge was outstanding today, London simply couldn't deal with him and he had his hand in a lot of the best work the team did. Ratchford was excellent as well, composed and returned the ball back brilliantly. And Briers looked like a youth player, enthusiastic and wanting to be involved all the time (and I don't mean youth player because of his new haircut).

| 1. Ratchford
2. Briers
3. Evans/Bridge - can't split them
Good performance but forced the ball too much and will be punished against better teams. Enjoyed it though. Well done Wire

My first thought was 'bloody hell, he had the weekend off and didn't go to the barbers. Scruffy get."
Definately a more 'youthful' Briers today, hopefully he can keep it up. I wonder if Smith plans to use him sparingly with Ratchford/Grix/Myler/O'Brien all able to slot in at halfback?

| Matt who............
Atkins Bridge Evans....all class.
I was shouting for Evans on Ratchfords try to swap the ball from his right hand to left so he could hand off the defender, but he still had enough skill to get the ball away.
Best young player since Iestyn Harris.
anyway I still thought Ratchford was Man of the match by a good distance, it wont be an easy decision to drop/move him for Hodgson.

| 1) Briers - felt he was so influential in everything good about our play. All of our tries from the right hand side came from his quality play, be it passing or kicking, he added the lethal touch to our attack when needed.
2) Bridge - linked with Briers really well, took his chances away and got a couple of assists in there as well. Classy centre play.
3) Ratchford - felt he defended well at full back, he took his kicks really well, although Broncos didn't put too much pressure on him. He ran the ball well and the try between him and Evans was quick thinking and excellent support play.
Overall, thought it was a game for the backs more than the forwards. As Smith said, the game was slow, so the forwards didn't have too much to do, but the backs shown some excellent skills all round and some of our tries were top drawer. I'm really pleased with our depth in all positions, especially the backs. We have plenty of players that can play two or three positions really well.

| Hope that it isn't too late as the thread is now a day old, my 'vote' is for Ratchford as our No1. Other than that anyone in the back division for numbers 2 and 3 in the poll. I would probably go Evans with Briers/Bridge tied for third

| I thought Ratchford shaded Bridge as the best player. Bridge was immense and he's devastating at centre but I was very impressed with Stefan yesterday too. I thought he influenced a lot of the things we did well and he's a difficult sod to handle which is fine with me. That exchange with Rhys Evans that was started and finished by Ratchford was sublime stuff. It really lit the place up on a day which was cold enough to freeze your ar$e cheeks together!
Speaking of Evans, how exciting is this kid?! I know he broke onto the scene last year but I felt yesterday was arguably his best so far. His pace, footwork and timing are top notch and more importantly, he has a real willingness to get stuck in with the tough stuff. It'll take something extraordinary to take the wing spot off him in my opinion.
All in all, after a sluggish start I think we had far more class across the park. We look like we can score from anywhere and its exciting to watch. I honestly don't care if our completion isn't spot on either if we keep this up. I still think it'll be tougher this season however I saw more than enough yesterday, in poor conditions, to convince me that we'll be right up there again.
Quick thumbs up to the stadium expansion too. Having seen it empty last Saturday during a stadium tour, I was really looking forward to seeing it with spectators in, and I wasn't dissapointed in the slightest. I was in the west stand and it looked very very impressive.

| 1- Ratchford
2- Westwood
3-Atkins
On yesterday's performance Hodgson can take as much time as he wants to get himself 100% Ratchford was outstanding at FB and I should imagine Riley will now be 3rd choice fullback !

Good all round performance but we'll have to play better on Saturday to take the points.

| The one thing that stops Bridge from getting it for me and probably anyone who watched him from the East/South East areas of the ground was his poor/unnecessary passing.
