I don't really see that there's anything controversial involved in that. Wigan are the incumbent holders and both teams have the possibility of winning it. I don't have any problems with it personally. |

They talked to both clubs about the decison before they made it... warrington said, should they win it, they would like it to be presented at home on the first play off game. |

The cynic in me says Warrington will have said that in order to boost the gate, as a week one play off game V Huddersfield won't be well attended if last year is anything to go by. The prospect of seeing the LLS presented will add a couple of thousand to the gate though.
Personally I don't like the idea of receiving it then as it's a distraction from an important game. A presentation after the match will be decidedly underwhelming if we've lost to Huddersfield too.

That article also confirms that the play-off game between first and fourth is on Friday 16th September. So if we beat Hull on Friday, we play Huddersfield the following Friday. |
