Couldn't attend but heard our tryline defence was a bit gash again today. It's still our achilles heel a lot of the time unfortunately and we need to tighten up.
Having said that, it is nice to get away with the two points.

Our defensive lapses weren't anything to do with being on the goal-line as far as I could see. But we did struggle to keep our shape when their quick guys were getting fast PTBs and we were struggling to get off the mark and slow their momentum when they got it.

didn't we score 56 unanswered points v Harlequins, in the first week in Feb last year, in colder conditions (I should know, my boiler had packed in when I got home , that day) |

I was saying it was cold and that from experience it is hard to defend when it is cold. Hands become super sensitive etc.
defence will improve with time and temperature. |

We are undoubtedly a summer rugby team.
In fact, we have reached out peak on the hottest weekend of the year in London the last two years.
Also, when I was a kid I hated tackling in the cold.
