What people forget about these football players who sh*g around, just like tiger woods, theyve not got an ounce of common sense.

Since the age of 10 they have been cooped up in a football school of excellence, dont get to have the usual teenage lifestyle of drink sex and partying, so once theyre "released in public" so to speak, say age 19 onwards when clubs see them as fully fledged adults, theyre irresponsible. They go out, get leathered, sh*g hookers, have pub brawls etc.

Im NOT justifying what Rooneys done nor tiger woods, but i can see why.

Theyve missed out on a lot, and think "iv got money, i can buy their silence, i know its bad but sod it". And then they end up in bother. But on the pitch they are geniuses. So its forgive and forget.

With Rooney and the granny, thats mind boggling, but i can see why he went with this Jenny Thompson. Shes gbetter looking than his mrs (my opinion), hes had the same mrs for 10 years +, and again thought he can get away with it. Hes not the first and wont be the last to do it.

Clubs need to be careful they don't get ripped off in an auction for Rooney.

IMO this is a bit like when Stuart Fielden left Bradford. His form had started to slip but Bradford managed to cash in and get a world record fee for him. They wouldn't have got that if they'd waited 12 months.

Ferguson could have clamped his foot down and told Rooney to STFU and stay like he did Ronaldo. If Fergie seems willing to look for offers then let the buyer beware - whatever you pay for Rooney, you're paying for what he will contribute in the next few years.
