Never ever get that one with opposition fans tbh. I'm not trying to pick an argument or anything but Lockers always seems one of the most honest and decent players about. He isn't flashy and doesn't go around trying to wind people up but just gets on with the game in a no nonsense fashion.

Long, McGoldrick, Ryan Bailey or even Sam Tomkins I can understand but not O'Loughlin. I'd class him in a similar bracket to somebody like Keiron Cunningham. He may be a Saints player but I have huge respect for how he handles himself and O'Loughlin goes about things in a similar fashion for me.

As a Wigan Fan i have an irrational hate for Sean Long, he has been quality no doubt. Im sure Wire fans hate S.Tomkins for the same irrational reasons

back on topic cheap shot on sam no need for it,imagine if it was on say ,myler some Herberts on here would want a 10 game ban or something,it did suprise me that it was ablett and not bailey dishing it out but hay ho give young sam his due up he got and took another bomb minutes later!.

Not the reason at all. I never had any hate for the likes of Radklinksi, Farrell and the great Wigan players of the 90's. It's the way he goes about things, holding onto players to get penalties, kicking out in the tackle but then spitting his dummy out when he get's it back. Horrible little man.

very true..remember last years semi at widnes..pushing certain players after we scored,mouthing off at clarke,trying it on with matt king,whom i may add just laughed in his face..all this rubbish about him being world class is just stupid talk,,good player at best...compare him to the likes of lockyer,billy slater, and he`s not fit to lace their boots...as one post said horrible little man

Sam tomkins is a class act, wasted at fullback imo. As for players i dislike-

i'm sure the way Lee Briers dives and moans i'm sure opposition fans dislike him.

Tomkins is a very good young player who should get better. He would get better faster if he cut out the niggling and just played.

He's best utilised at fullback at the moment imo because opposition teams can't read what he's going to do. He's chiming into the line when he wants and it's so hard to read wheras when he was at stand off teams can try and mark him out of the game.

Long term he's going to be a stand off or even scrum half but at the moment he's playing some unbelievable rugby at fullback.
