In my opinion, it will be a crying shame if Wally Gardens gets developed for housing. Spent many, many happy days there in my youth, and now still visit on the odd occasion with my 6 year old daughter & she thinks it's brill.

What next, tarmac over the crematorium as an overspill carpark for the hotel/golf club???

It's a wonderful place of relaxation and enjoyment for the populus of Runcorn, Widnes and scousers in general.

Spent hours here as a kid.

I was always under the impression that the hall and gardens were given to W.B.C. as a gift to the people of Warrington to use as a leisure facility and as such could not be sold in this manner.
