I'm with you, but it does worry me a touch when you look at Eastmond, and then Richie.
I know they're completely different players, and I'm not going to start bagging a kid who's played 7 games for us, it's just, well, i'm mildly worried about his lack of creativity - I'll put it like that. Can you learn - sure he can, but to have got to the level he's at, you'd have expected him to have more.
Of all the players in team, Briers injury has probably helped him the least. Getting Briers back training & playing, and getting some continuity will help him.

| Quote wireontour="wireontour"Winning the league is important, why bother entering a competition and not having the aspiration to win? I'm sorry but this is a defeatist attitude. TS may say its only about the performances but we all know thats a load of b*****cks if we are sat at the bottom of the league having put in some good performances.
'"
There is a huge difference between aiming to win the league and expecting to win the league.
Leave the team and TS to take care of aiming to win the league - and leave the fans to take care of supporting them, but [iplease[/i don't go on about winning the league in the way you do, because it makes it sound like you expect them to do it, and ultimately makes you look like a tool.
Quote wireontour="wireontour"We won the cup, we need to believe !'"
So what? Yes we won the cup, yes it was a great experience - that does not give us, as fans, the right to set our expectation levels so high as winning the league the following season... If TS and the players want to talk about aiming to win the competition in amongst themselves and in the media, that's a good thing, they are aiming for the right prize, but that doesn't give you the right to expect them to achieve it this season either.
Can I ask a question? How old are you?

| Creative half back no, but the guy is like a ghost, almost every break he's there in support. He's not Lee Briers but who is? The lad is 19 ffs. Can we have some perspective please.

| Richie Myler is very much the same type of player as Shaun Edwards who had the same knack as Richie Myler in following players who make the break / half break and finishing off. Edwards scored shed loads of tries but you must bear in mind the Pies had Ellery Hanley at loose forward acting as chief playmaker. With the best will in the world Ben Harrison isn't an Ellery Hanley. He's a promising young prop forward.

Absolute rubbish.
Hanley was never a playmaker and Edwards scored most of his tries after Ellery left.

| Hanley wasn't a playmaker ? Lord, give me strength. I never did like him when he was playing, mainly because he did us so much damage but to say he wasn't a playmaker suggests to me you never saw him play. He was one the most creative players I ever saw.
It pains me to say it but he was one of the all time greats. Not a very nice man but a great player.

I saw a lot more of Hanley than you ever did. He was great player yes, but not a play maker. He was a running player, not a passer, in fact his passing was quite poor.
That is why Graham Lowe moved him to loose forward and brought in Gregory to partner Edwards.

| How do people rate danny mac at leeds, richie is a very similar player for me only he's 19.
You'll get the odd good kick here and there, an occasional flash of brilliance but the real skill behind there types of players is when they don't have the ball.

Does anyone else think Solomona is making a better effort at wide pivot than Grix when he comes on the field?'"
I agree. Grix is never a stand off in a million years as much as I like him.

You can ask, and I am in my 40's and have been successful in life so far, career etc, by believing that I can do it and aiming for what I want. This is all I am asking for wire. Success should bring the desire for more & more success, my experience is that people who aim for mediocrity achieve exactly that. This wasnt a dig at RM, I would love him to succeed but don't think he is quite performing to the standards expected at this point in time. The same could be said of King a couple of years ago and now look at him.
