Didn't think of that
I'm a big cycling fan, and I remember Johan Museeuw getting a compund fracture. He nearly lost his leg, then his life but recovered to win big races again.

I'm sure Alan Smith and Cisse would perhaps argue this point...

I was thinking more of Ronaldo and co who fall to the ground and roll around if someone is within two feet of them. I'm sure you knew what I meant, and as I typed it I did think I was doing a dis-service to Eduardo and Cisse.

| That kind of injury genuinely makes me queezy. I think i'm right in saying, surprisingly, that is the first compound fracture i have seen during my days of playing and watching RL. Thats amazing considering the impact involved. Jesus i feel ill just watching it. Can't beat adreneline and dopamine/endorphins for carrying you through an injury like that, the body really is amazing.
All the best for a speedy recovery.

First half we wern't too bad, defensively we were pretty solid but our fitness told especially when Lovegrove picked up an injury and Stan's about a million years old so he was always going to suffer back end of the game!
Think next week when we get Briscoe, Webster, Cockayne and Galea back we should look a lot more composed and organised throughout the 80mins (fingers crossed!)
Agree with you all though about Chev might not always be a fans favourite but he's certainly an icon of the game and fingers crossed he'll be playing it for years to come.

TBH, I haven't always been, but he showed a great deal of class the way he handled his broken leg, which is one of the nastiest you're likely to see.

Cockayne won't be a bonus, awful player.
