| The first time I heard him speak was last weeks RL Extra. For a minute I thought he was being serious when he said that he was going to reduce his involvement with the club. He sounded like a fish out of water on the air and I think he prefers to leave all the media stuff to Gatcliffe and his sexy stadium.
He is no doubt a major factor in us lifting a trophy for the first time in 18 years.
Top work fella.

Have you ever heard Moran speak. He is less than articulate.
That's not a criticism just a fact. He is not a confident speaker which is very strange for a successful businessman.
Ian Lenagan however is very comfortable when speaking in public.

He is probably the most suprising millionare in the world, and he'd be the first to say it.
But, he is a millionaire. And he is majority shareholder of the Challenge Cup Champions. F*ck the eloquotion lessons.

Richard Branson, for example, is another very hesitant businessman/speaker. Let Simon enjoy the moment as he prefers - a fan like all the rest of us, albeit one with the wherewithal to make the difference.

If you want an owner who is going to speak in the press week in week out about who he thinks is a good player or not then good for you. I'd rather have one who actually does things like when Adrian Morley is coming back to GB then he signs him to come to Warrington or when we look demoralised at Wakefield away he decides enough is enough and goes out and gets the best coach in the country.
Just remind us who Lenagan has signed for next year: we've got Myler and Atkins so far with more to come, f'all have signed for Wigan.
Actions speak louder than words; no matter how articulate the words may be spoken.

He can be where he wants to. As all the thread states, he is a shy person when it comes to Wires and stays in the background. Yet still, on the day we win the cup after 35 years you think what? that he should have made his own way to the TH or even walked with Jimmy Lowes. And the difference is we haven`t got the millions, none of us. But he has and he` invested a lot in us. You my friend have just made THE mot ridiculous statement of the day...no the year

| There is no doubt in my mind that without Simon Moran this club would not be where it is now. We as fans owe him a debt of gratitude beyond calculation.
I have spoken out in favour of Mr Moran many times on this board and will continue to do so. He loves the club as much as any of us and more than some of us.
If he chooses to keep directly out of the limelight then that is his choice and I fully respect that.
An old boss of mine used to say there are those that do and those that talk about it. Mr Moran is the former and long may his ownership of Warrington Wolves continue.
