Calm down grandad, I was only expressing an opinion. No need for the personal insults.
I did see Clarke put Louis through that gap, same as you would have witnessed excellent play by Monaghan to set up the other brother for a try.
Monaghan will prove to be a far better hooker than Clarke has ever been for us, given a decent run of games in the number 9 role. Mickey Higham is a decent impact hooker so where does that leave JC? |

No. People say we have one of the best sides in the league on paper, but this simply isn't true.
Where we have been severely lacking are the key positions of 1,7,9 and 13. Mathers should hopefully do enough to be our fullback for the next few years, Myler will develop into a quality scrum half alongside Briers, and Monaghan proved in the NRL he is an excellent hooker.
The other thing we need is a quality loose forward, someone like Sinfield or Westerman. Clarke is not the answer. |
