However, if Peacock played for the Wire and Moz for Leeds, I'm sure you would be saying the complete opposite.

| I'd like to see the season finish just before xmas, and re-start on say January 5th, or whatever the Monday is.
Last game before xmas, the players go hone at halftime if they've done their work.

| How come Peacock only had a 15 day break?
Englands involvement in the world cup ended on the 15th November - was he back in training on the 30th November?
if like the Saints players, he wasnt back in training until January - he had around 5 or 6 weeks off.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy: |
|
| The season probably is too long if we're going to win international games consistently at the end of it, however the International matches would never generate enough revenue to cushion the loss of matches if the fixtures were cut back - so looks like we're stuck with it.
Something I beleve that should be stopped though is asking players to play on both Good Friday and Easter Monday and then the Friday after. Players need to be given chance to recover to be able to perform at their optimum in every game.

| I wouldn't like to see a massive reduction in games, but Peacock is a top fella and a fine ambassador for the game. Accordingly, his opinion should be respected.

Indeed, and it seems Morley now agrees with him!

| Today's namby-pamby players are just a bunch of bloomin' lightweights!!
Remember before the days of the lovely summer Sky league, we had a 26 match league (and prior to that a 30 match league), a County Cup competition, Regal Trophy, Challenge Cup, Top 8 play-offs, and all played, the majority of the time, in muddy, tiring conditions.
A successful side could thus be expected to play 40-50 games a season, and, for most of the time, spectators were satisfied with what they were seeing, so please none of the rubbish about how much fitter and greater today's bunch of superstars are.

| I would like to see a 25 round Super League, similar to the NRL. They play 24 games and incorporate a bye round. We can keep our "Magic" round.
And maybe its an idea that any player who plays in the Four Nations for England can only play 22 or 23 rounds in the following year`s Super League regular rounds? A cap for the Elite. Pros and Cons to that but we flog our star players to death so its time the RFL looked at all possibilities. Thoughts?

I wouldn't mind being 'flogged' to death for the money some of these guys are on...
Really, its about time some of these guys stopped moaning and simply got on with earning a bloody good living from playing a game they supposedly love.

Neither would I, but I also wouldnt mind seeing England/GB win a series against Australia before I die. We are up against it anyway without pounding our Elite players with an extra 6 or 7 weeks of games.

You are making excuses for the simple fact that the British game does not have the quality to take on NZ or Australia.
Tiredness is a tiny factor, the players not being good enough is the biggest.
