Looking back (for what it is worth) ... the Cooper "Try" was touch and go and relied on the Refs decision. I've seen many like that given.
Six points would have been handy at the time.

No issue with that after half a dozen games, just that he'll have a decent contract to pay-off or a transfer fee, so not sure it's realistic that he'll be going anywhere anytime soon. |

Doesn't have to be a transfer fee (though it would make financial sense to try and get one). He could be used in a swap deal, or sold cheaply to make space on the salary cap, or just to get rid.
If he agreed to any move then he wouldn't need paying off either. |
