4th choice prop?
You mean the one that starts the game with no.8 on his back or another one?

Very good, you know what I meant though. Staying or going?

That doesn't really make sense unless you are going to take him back as a last resort if you can't sign anyone else. Why would the door be open to a return if you'd decided to not give him a contract?

Is wigans 4th choice prop not good enough to be our 4th choice prop?
Cooper is an excellent addition, pretty much every club in SL and plenty in the NRL would like him in their ranks.
Blythe will play a handful of games next year.
I'm sure there will still be players to come in. But there's not much we can do to replace Currie, I assume he still counts on the cap, we can bring in support to that role, but they obviously won't be Currie standard.

Not a return for 2017, a return once he has got some games under his belt in 2/3 years time, if it suits both parties.

| Guardian today suggests that Penny is here next year and sort of suggests (but doesn't actually say) that Harrison is as well.
If Dwyer leaves that means we need another hooker and I think we still need a strike centre. Plus A N Other prop, bit surprised the Crosby signing isn't public by now.

Gidley has 1 on his back
Ratchford 6
Did they play there?
How many games did he start?

Crosby is definitely not 'fourth choice' at Wigan. Arguably he looked better than what we had on display on Saturday regardless.

If he is better than Bailey and Cox then it can only be an improvement.

| Absolutely, regardless of numbers if we do manage to sign Crosby he is an improvement on what has left and an improvement on our first 17. We need a back or 2 yet though to complete the playing squad.

| Does King not deserve a shot at centre next year? King & Atkins in the centre, Lineham and Russell/Penny on the wings. Evans and Russell/Penny in reserve.
Personally if we had one more player to come in, a back rower would be my first preference.
I think the only way we will see any bigger name players come in is if an Atkins or Ratchford leaves.

Now I can see why you don't agree with anything I say.
In relation to Crosby how much is bacon?

| The Cooper signing worries me, not because he isn't good enough, but because people on here are already claiming the messiah is back to save the day.
Copper's stats for last season were no better than Sims for line breaks with a total of 1. And only 14 off loads compared to 43 for Sims, Sims also made over 100 more hit ups with a similar game time. I worry that Cooper will be the new Atkins(Scapegoat) where his drive the ball in and get a quick play the ball wont please many. I cant wait because he is just what we need, if the rumour are true about Crosby then we have 2 props who make yards and 2 props who get quick play the ball. Plus all the other add ins

You should be on the stage pal
Maybe that way the vast majority on here could pelt you with the tomatoes you deserve for the amount of inane drivel you post

People think because he was a regular in the nrl at a bad team he will suddenly be amazing in the sl, ignoring that English forwards tend to do well over there, it is the backs that struggle.
He was a good sl player before he left imo, and he will be when he returns, but he won't be much better than previously.
