I kind of think that there's no smoke without fire I guess, but the truth has probably been stretched along the way, and mud sticks. Once you get a reputation for yourself, it's very difficult to shift. He probably does like an ale, but as Lefty says, no more than other SL players. A mate of mine, his old man works for Tote, they took Leeds Rhinos to York Races and they were leathered, one or two of them acting up etc, but they win SL, so it isn't a problem. To avoid these kind of threads, you have to back yourself up, and by winning on the pitch etc. When we won 11 from 12, I saw our squad in Stockton Heath loads of times.

Oh, and seen as Inside Knowledge is LWF, and he made things up regularly, I wouldn't give what he says too much credability.

Totally agree. It's a crying shame that Briers has not made the most of his talents in my view. We are lost without Briers at the moment, but that says rather more about our team than it does about the player.
