I don't get the disciplinary; how can Vaughan & Charnley get charged for the same offence, but Vaughan gets a ban & Charnley gets a fine? Am I missing something?

Play the kids. Let Saints have the walkover the disciplinary panel is desperate to give them. Don't risk anyone missing more through injury or suspension. They're definitely trying to placate saints because of their earlier campaign about being treated unfairly.

There is no conspiracy, let’s not go down that mad road like our neighbours. Saints are missing two of their best forwards and some more - neither team will be near full strength. Pressure is off, turn up, play well and see what happens and get to the international break. Let’s be thankful this isn’t sep/oct.

The MRP is just bizarre - I can't recall that many penalties and certainly no-one going "on report" during Friday's game vs Wigan.

Do they just do post match review specifically for disciplinary purposes, irrespective of onfield calls - and if so, why not go the whole hog and adjust the result if any other things were missed......!?!?

I wouldn't be surprised if that lot down the road had posted a dossier against Paul Vaughan comparing against Knowles attempt to finish coopers career the previous week, to try to get vaughan suspended.

I think we need to sign a new prop now, we couldn't make any ground against Wigan we will really struggle against saints I think.

I’ve seen the fines doubled.

It's this year's hobby horse. I'm not commenting on any specific bans, but I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of hip drop bans there have been in the previous five seasons. There will be none by July, then someone will get a ban in the play offs cos of it. Ludicrous is the correct word.

It's worth a punt appealing this as if his ban gets doubled, It would only mean he misses the Wakey game by which time we should have Bullock/Philbin & Harrison back. I would presume we would have rested him for this game anyway. We certainly need him against St Helens and it is a game we should be looking to win to lay a marker down.
