No offence to anyone here but scoring 1,000 points is low down on the list of priorities for me. Beating Wigan and going top is THE top priority. Scoring 1,000 points is nice, but I'm not getting giddy about it.
Having the best defence in the league is very good though.

I think you can give our academy a big 'rap for last nights win to be honest. I'm sure there's a Squadbuilder angle here like, but you take a step back from the win and look at the circumstances what with the injuries we have, the heat over there, the pressure of what was at stake etc, to go there with Riley, Blythe, Mitchell, Harrison, Cooper. Great win, all bodes well. It's not just the win, I think it shows that they can deal with the pressure.

First try was a charge down by Louis in our own 20 followed by Bridge going all the way.
Second try was Bridge again from Riley kick return from deep.
Third try was Louis stripping ball from Menzies about 40-50 metres out, offloading to Atkins who just about held off Blanch.
Fourth try was Briers interception (only about 30 yards that one).

Wigan fans seem to find it very hard to give other teams credit. There are a few decent posters in all honesty, but most of them come across as childish teenagers. I get the inbetweeners in my mind for some reason.

Agreed, the Catalans fan were great with us, even though they lost they all still seemed to have enjoyed it. Thought the party on the quay on friday night was also good and a change from the bbq at the ground. |
