| I think Catalans are fast becoming the new Huddersfield. Lying on in the tackle all the time, nasty digs here and there, slowing the game down.
All they need now is to sign Chris Nero from Salford and they will officially be the biggest dirt merchants in Super League.

| Quote: Warrington Wolf "Sorry for splitting hairs here but Leeds are top. Riley does come off his wing and then this leaves the door open at times. However all that said, there aren't many teams who will be able to effectively attack us on that side with the power of Catalans. Lets be happy. Oh Warry, Warry'"

| It was always going to be a very intense forward-dominated game and the heavy pitch probably compounded that, but I thought we dug in well and deserved the win.
On a dry, hard paddock I'd have taken us to win with a bit more to spare.
Evans, both Monas and Waterhouse all excellent for me tonight.
As for Elima, what a man you are mate. Next time you decide to go swinging arms at people pick on Morley, Carvell or Westwood not Rhys Evans whilst he's lying prone on the ground.
Brent Webb = frustrated, bitter, huge persecution complex and yesterdays man ..... and the same can be said of Pryce as well.

| If Mr Silverwood had bothered to stop the lying on in the first half it would have been a completely different game. Elima was the original penalty machine tonight, but the real culprit was that horrible little swine Henderson. Have a look at the Westwood v Webb incident. Henderson comes into the tackle and puts an elbow straight into Benny's face. Horrible player, and tonight, horrible team.

| Henderson is hardly ever square at he play he ball he stands with his hands in the air but blocking off a Chanel as if he's not active n play but he's clearly cursing an obstruction. As for Elima, he just looses it and has major Brain farts. Not many teams will enjoy playing Ctalans at hon or even worse away.

| stupidest and dirtiest team in superleague by some distance.
Brent Webb getting floored has made my season.....he will regret doing those little shadow boxing moves towards Benny for a while. And Why he walked off the pitch like a prize fighter I have no idea he must have been hit that hard he thought he won.....!!

| Just watched the game on sky when I got home. Brent "Glass jaw" Webb will be so embarrassed when he sees himself looking cool and instigating the fight before hitting the turf. Off all the people in SL you would not pick on. I mean Benny must be in the top 10 of hard knocks?

| Webb got the brunt of a whole game worth of especially hard knocks aimed at Bennie tonight. I didn't think a player could get binned twice in the sane game, and I'm surprised that the 2nd yellow wasn't red after he tried to fight Bennie on his way off the pitch.
Silverwood's inability to control the game tonight was embarrassing, how he allowed Pryce to get away with that knee to Myler's face is beyond me.
Don't think TS or the players will be happy again, but I thought our kicking game tonight was better than I had expected tonight without Briers, and I think Myler is starting to step up. Very impressed with him so far this season.

As an impartial viewer FYI it was Westwood who instigated the fight you even hear the touch judge telling the ref, and I still remember his cynical elbow in the mouth of Tommy Gallagher knocking out teeth and stitches to his mouth, hardly the actions of a hard man, He can't hold a candle to the likes of Morley or Peacock, and your best man tonight was Silverwood.
1st try he took Cats back 14yds then a penalty for only retreating 10yds result try.
2nd try, if it was a knock on 25yds out why the scrum on the 10 after Riley put his foot out result try.
3rd try, millard stands up in the tackle, Riley walks forward and to his left of the mark result try.
All of these incidents were spotted by the commentators and commented on. No wonder Elima was a bit r'sed.

It depends more on what you mean by instigated - Webb launching himself late into the tackle earlier could also be considered instigating it, and neither player was prepared to let it go over the next few tackles.
The second try was scored by poor defence from Catalans, Joel had acres of space which would have still been there if we'd been 10 yards further back. I don't remember the third try clearly enough, but both sides were stepping off the mark and generally messing around all the way through, so I'd be surprised if this was the only score from it.

| Phil Webbo...bearing in mind the tackle that got Benny's Dannder up was a five man tackle three of whom managed to hit him above the neck. Webb then proceeded to hold Benny down locking his arm in trying to win the "he's holding me down sir" argument....after that he ranted away then twice made movement towards benny doing that pretending to throw a punch motion.
if you are suprised that Westwood popped Webb in the chin after that one incident alone never mind the previous 70 minutes worth of high shots and neck grabs he'd been recieving you are watching the wrong game.
