Yes, Matautia and Ratchford are the halves.

The way Riley Dean played today in the Reserves, he deserves a 1st Team selection ASAP.

If I was Dean, I wouldn't like reading that Powell wants ratchford to be our half for next season. Dean should be playing the rest of this season(as it's a lost cause)to get him ready to partner Williams next year in my opinion.

I agree, but maybe this is Powell playing mind games and motivating Riley?

Just read Huddersfield are trying to sign Easen Marsters from Gold Coast, so this could indicate Wardle may well be free game next year if he isn't off to Wigan? Although i'm not Sure as they have Signed Naiqama as well so this might mean they don't want King so it's all very co fusing with the centre round a bout going on. We may well indeed see King back with us, who knows?
On another note has anyone heard anything more on this Brandon Wakeham we were supposedly linked with? I think The halves will be our weak point next year if we don't bring anyone in.....plus our second row needs to find their form again.

Yeah it,'s really confusing to see which way things are going to go. If Wardle is off to Wigan and We don't want king back, does that mean we sign a new centre or is Wrench ear marked for the left centre spot . Genuinely stumped with this one i suppose we'll have to see what happens and with the halves?

This might be me putting 2 + 2 and getting 57 again but when Matty Peat came out with his comments about us signing Nicholson from memory it was only a day or so after the king / Wardle loan move was confirmed. If Wardle joins Wigan, Good luck to him, it might help to clear a pathway for one of our academy products like Peet was eluding to.

There are rumours on the Wigan site that they have signed Toby King, for 2023 season.

Could be a possibility which might imply Wardle isn't off to them which could leave him free for us. And i don't think he be on the same wage as King. I'd be made up if we kept Wardle, he's had some great touches, plays and scored some great tries. And you can see the effort from him week in week out. And next year on the back of a dominant pack,the like of him, Ashton, Dufty, Daz Clark, Thewlis and Williams will cause absolute Chaos for opposition.
We'll have a massive pack with some frightening speed next year, we just need another half as i think we're weak there next year.

Are you sure Wigan don't just want Wardle, but King is part of a BOGOF deal

Wigan definitely want Wardle, but I can`t see Huddersfield releasing him without a transfer fee.

Can we do one of them crowdfunding pages or whatever it is and get the money to pay King to go play for Widnes or some other club than have him back here.
