| Thorman is a better halfback than Chris Bridge, so does that mean a big oh no to keeping Bridge

Then, Why if Bridge is such a good half back has he been playing at Centre. Easy, for the team, injuries. Thorman covered Reilly. Bridge covered Johnson.
FWIW I think that Thorman isn't half as talented as Bridge but is a better all round half than Bridge currently.

Granted, this week that was the case. My point kinda is that much like ourselves they have outside backs that they are struggling to work out what their best 1 - 7 is. For the past years Thorman has played 6 with the odd game at FB when injuries permit.
This year with the signings Lolesi and Elford at the minute not really cutting the mustard that has created a problem in that they are unsure what is infact their best side.
Reilly now seems to cover one wing, Aspinwall is finaly back on the other.
Brown looks more comfortable at 6 but equally was excellent back end of last year at centre.
Elford came as 1st choice winger, now to me looks a half decent centre.
Lolesi ? Not sure, jury is probabls still mixed on him.
The form of Brown and Hudson as much as anything no doubt forced Sharps hand. Hudson has been magnificent at 9 and difficult to leave out so Drew needs to be played at 7, then Browns sensational form at 6 means another reshuffle.
We don't have these luxuries, we just need fit people, when our squad is back at full strength, perhaps tactical switches of position will be made ?
It's similar with us, Bridge is a centre playing 6 but his future looks at centre, but and the but is, could he add one or two things to his game he'd be a bloody good 6. But can he...
I think Thorman has achieved more and looked better than Bridge at 6 but Bridge without doubt has the ability to eclipse him if he can develop his game as Thorman may/ may not have to at FB.

Well you have your opinions..............................no you dont really do you ?
you just post sarcasm after sarcasm it might have been funny at first but its lost its Lustre after 18months of it...why not try something else....
Bridge is a young player of great talent he has strength pace a step and elusiveness, with Ball in hand running at defenders he is most definitely a danger....My comparison with Blake and davies is because on Many occasions fans wanted those players to get the ball more often...so there was a demand for them to play halfback...... sure when asked to play there they would conjour up great individual tries but moving a team round the field was a different story.....
If you cant see a comparison between those players and Bridges current predicament then thats your short sightedness or simply a lack of belief in Chris Bridge which is fine.......you carry on with the sarcasm i believe many people are impressed with it.........

I think i know where your coming from here especially about the bit where you mentioned strength, pace, elusiveness and running at defenders with the ball he was a definate danger.
We havn`t produced one of those sorts of players since Mark Forster and he could have been anything given a run at stand off, some may come along and say what about Henare ?
What about Henare ? My answer to that is that Henare was signed from another club, Mark Forster was nurchered through the system at the club similar to Ryan Giggs was at United.

Yeh, but he can be very moody and disappear as soon as the going gets tough.
At least that's what happened on never mind the buzzcocks!

I think the odds must be on this. But Sally makes a good point in signing players that may not have the hunger for success any more (as say Robinson does) and the drinkypoo bit worries me a little too.
Either way Long or Robinson or establish NRL half back for me. The side is crying out for it.
