| I'm not confident for this one tbh. Strongest saints 19 i've seen for a while and Eastmond has started to play again.
They owe us one.

| I want Saints to win only because I expect that the GF winners will be either us or Wigan and I don't want the CC to be used as a reason for the best team in the comp not winning it.

But in theory, with Pryce back and a decent 17, if we were good enough to beat Wigan, we'd also be good enough to beat Warrington? (I'm not suggesting we are, just theorising)
You lot should want Saints to win for moral reasons, but a Wigan win for Warrington's benefit as it puts them through the extra big game at Wembley which would more or less guarantee them being under par in the play offs.

Yes Saints still holds a fear for me in the Play offs but I just think that it's us or Wigan based on what I've seen to date this season. As for wanting Saints to win tomorrow for 'moral reasons' well, nope

From the very start of the season I have been posting that Saints will be at O/T in October.
Even when Saints were 5th and looking average I was still saying they will be the team that prevents either Wire or Wigan getting to the Grand Final.

| A Wigan win is the most desirible outcome only since it gives them a weekend at Wembley right before we play them in the league.
What a horrible choice though

| Ideal scenario is Wigan win this game Cas win tomorrow and Cas win at Wembley, Wigan then so tired we beat them and win the league leaders shield, they then play Saints who get revenge twice it is a OT final us and Saints, we have 5 of our best players injured and Saints have a full squad the score is 22-22 until the 79th minute when Jon Clarke recieves and ankle pass from Higham and drops it over the sticks and we win 23-22.

Clarke would still get slagged off on here afterwards, his drop goal would just sneak over and everybody would be paying for his ticket to Widnes next year and I'm pretty sure that Royce Simmons would claim that drop goals should be outlawed before complaining about Stains' so called "Injury crisis".

I like the idea but would far prefer the winning score coming from Matt King as he collects a high bomb and then runs THROUGH Eastmond. At least the Saints fans would go home with something to cheer about as well.
