| Don't think we need to panic.
Even though saints were depleted in the forwards like us, they've been at the top for 4 years so a patched up Wire side which has only been assembled relatively recently isn't going to be favourites.
It was a disappointing performance but when our forwards return, we'll be a different kettle of fish. Our attacking enterprise is miles better already than under Price and we look a damn site more creative than Saints. Once we regain more control of the ruck and have our opposition on the back foot, our backs will be able to execute these plays with more space.
Disappointing tonight, but nothing too serious to worry about once our forwards return.

Don’t forget we’re decades behind the two sides who have just beat us in regards to progressing youth tonight is a prime example.'"
Cope? If Walker got injured and we no longer had Clark we'd be stuffed in the 9's.

| We lost but the two week break has come at a welcome time because we need to get players back into the side and reset... Position wise we are still good fortunately and the next set of games gives chance to push on again ... We really need to learn how to slow the ruck down though as our opponents have done with great success in the last couple of weeks

| How much longer can we keep saying 'oooh just wait til the forwards are back!' while teams bully and slow us down. We don't seem to have a plan B.

| If we go onto playoffs with our back up squad, we're toast. If we go in at full strength, we've a chance. It's as simple as that.
The next few months is to decide who of the squad players we need to move in. I suspect Currie is top of that list. Peanut isn't far behind and Ratch is back up next year.
Can't win en all

Quick question, were you this knee jerk when we actually was poor?

I noticed after the Wigan loss you'd sprung into action and after this Saints loss, you've made the most of the opportunity to rain down a load of negatives.
What do you want now: sack the coach? Get rid of all the players?
If we win next week, will you be back?

| Hard to see any positives from that although Walker and Russell had great games. We have no strike from centre and Ratchford, Minikin and Matautia are just not good enough to win trophies. It is not as if you see them creating space for the wingers either.
We badly need Wrench back and just wonder if Thewlis could make it there.
Might be time to bring Riley Dean back too if we want more creativity.

| The disappointing thing was the lack of fire and passion bar a few minutes when Kasiano and Matautia came on.
Dufty’s ‘efforts’ for some of the tries was risible and all teams will be targeting him with the kick now - seemed spooked to go for a high ball.
But we’re 8 from 10 and need to come back strong against Wakey and build again.

| Bongser wishes that Leigh had 16 points (therefore 16 clear of the dreaded bottom spot) and were top of the shop (at least until Sunday). This time last season you were collectively dropping more liquid than Niagara.
A tad of perspective needed perhaps, ladies and gentlemen.
Your friend,
Bongser

We are 8 from 10 going into a much needed break for a squad that's running on fumes right now.
If nobody saw tonight's result & general display coming after the previous 2 games, then I'm sorry, you probably need to find another sport to follow...

Yes. I expected a response tonight after Friday and we reverted to the same game plan by the looks of it. So now I expect us to wallop the team who are bottom or we've truly lost our mojo.

A certain element of our posters on here expect things to run perfectly from start to finish. We discovered new frailties last week against Wigan and some can't believe that everything wasn't fixed in one week. Even though much of our success in the opening 8 fixtures was down to the solid base our forwards established, some believe we must be enept because we can't perform without it. Some believe that we should be beating much more successful and established sides with similar issues to us ie. Lack of forwards, straight away without giving the coach and his new squad chance to rectify the situation. Some just like a good moan and Warrington losing provides a great opportunity for this.

What would your gameplan have been without a descent set of forwards 'Warringtonwolves69'? I smell a rat here.
