If you don't know what being a wire means. You haven't watched alot of our games.
Being a wire. Take the players from the past. Paul cullen. Lee briers. Mark forster. Lee penny. Nat Wood. Paul darbyshire. Paul Wood. Benny westwood
No matter how the match is going. Whether we are winning or losing by 50. They still put 100% effort in and 100% commitment to the cause. They never give up and they are proud to represent the club. They are injured. But carry on regardless. They get up and carry on. Regardless on the scoreline and they never give up.

I thought this was a bit strange. Is Dallas Mead2 just on the forum just to have a bit of perverted fun.
Maybe? There are all sorts on a forum.

Dufty will be a great signing for us providing he settles well. He’s got genuine quality and that was for all to see tonight. But he’s a full back, so why would we not play him in his rightful and best position moving forward?

I think he's got experience at hb as well. He looked very natural holding the line, drawing defenders and passing out wide as many quality hbs do (eg for Wrench's try). I think I would prefer to have Williams and Dufty hbs and Thewlis at fb. The only thing is no Ratchford to kick goals, though Matautia used to kick for Cas. At the same time, Dufty is great coming into the line at FB. Its a win win with him - looks a great player.

| Without Dufty we lose that game. Looks a great signing. Onwards and upwards.

True, Mulhern is thicker than a docker's butty, but he DOES pinch us umpteen yards up the pitch. I can live with the odd penalty, as a consequence. More power to his elbow.
Flip side.
Has Matautia actually beaten a man, this season?'"
No idea why you signed him to be honest. Gives 101%, but runs sideways like a crab as he has no pace. He should be in the championship next season, have Wire signed him on a 2 year deal, hopefully not ???

Powell has stated he see's Dufty as an out and out fullback. He won't suddenly move him in to the halves.

No pace? Jai Field was clocked as fastest so far in SL this year. Dufty was clocked slightly faster in the NRL earlier this year. Don’t want facts to get in the way of some trolling of course.

Or you could just read properly, he was on about Matautia.

| After conceding three tries in 12 minutes it looked like we had collapsed again and I thought we were done.
For a team low on confidence that struggles under pressure I pleased we came out and did the business in the second half.
Daryl Clark looks done. We looked much better when Walker came on.
Love the threat that Dufty offers with the ball in hand. He’ll create space for the players around him as he’ll suck in defenders.
Hope we can crack on from this but I’ve thought we turned a corner about four times this season.

Apart from Ryan Hall against us a couple of weeks ago. Agree though, a great kick and a well deserved try for Holmes who was excellent (at last) last night.

Thewlis kicks ahead far more regularly and is very effective.
