| Apologies if this has already been done to death, but I just cannot get my head round only using two of four subs. Hampering the pack in such a big game by having just Davis and BMM rotating was madness, together with not throwing on Mamo for the last twenty minutes while Widdop appeared to be trying to play on one leg.

| I felt at 14-19 that Mamo should have been introduced. If Price was hell bent on keeping Widdop out there, he had the option of removing one of the Second Rowers and putting King there to get more potential tryscorers on the pitch.

| This is what happens when you go into a game with only two recognised props in your squad and one of them gets injured. We spent the whole season patching up the problem when Cooper and Hill were fit and playing, but losing one of them was a bridge too far. And you can add into that the astonishingly poor recruitment of Latu, and Akauola. We meed to stop trying too recruit the 'holy grail' players from Oz and get back to basic common sense analysis of what the squad requires. I don't know who is responsible for this KFP or SP ?, but they are clearly doing the club a disservice.
Individual players were also pretty poor tonight. Ratchford missing goals, dropping a ball in our 20m and providing little attacking input. Currie was back to his 2019 anonymous self. Davis may work hard but is far, far too small to be effective. Austin overplaying his passing, missing tackles, and providing little with his last tackle kicks, although you can't deny he works really hard. BMM looks to have his head on the plane back home, and in any case you can't afford the luxury of an impact player like him when you need a 40 minute prop instead.
There is a lot of work to do before next February / March to assemble a balanced, effective squad that can do the basics.

| Hull supporter ,I come in peace. First thing that irritates is Sky gave Hull no hope against the Wire. Hull is a team that you can`t put a bet on, remember the thrashing that cost Radford his job? We have good players, but seemed disjointed, now at least there seems to be some fire in the belly. I thought that once Hull weathered the first half storm they picked up and showed some muscle and determination. Sneyd and Connor`s kicking game seemed to be the key. You may disagree ,but I thought I would give you my six penneth.

Your kicking game was excellent and showed exactly what we needed to be doing. I thought Hull lacked self confidence in the first 20 minutes but that soon evaporated and you were well worth the win.

No arguments here, the better team won on the night and your kicking game was a massive reaosn for that. Our kicking game was abysmal. Austin over hit almost everything and just kept doing the same thing over and over, and it wasn't causing Hull any problems at all or even giving our chasing players a chance to put pressure on.

| Whether it was not using subs, kicking game or phases of the moon when I see Widdop laughing with O'Connor [ibefore[/i the end of the game and Charnley chatting to Griffin at the start of the 2nd half like a pair of old women it tells me everything I need to know about the desire to win.
Should it matter in this upside down world? Well actually, yes it should and I can't imagine any Wigan players doing it on Wane's watch ...... hence why the GF wait goes on.

| Having watched it back again (Iknow), my opinion of the game didn;t change. Hill was fantastic in his first stint on, ruthless in defence and made big yards. At this stage in his career he did too many minutes and we paid for that.
We've no idea near the opposition line and make hard work of scoring. Ben Currie was single handedly negligent in two of their tries and isn't the player he was, get shut. would Latu have been a worse option on the bench than Matt Davis ?
Regarding the coach, playing Hull with 2 props and only using 15 players is criminal. Complaining about our kicking game that he's had 10 months to get it how he wants it is criminal. cup finish3d, we're in the playoffs and the comments coming out that oru halves have yet to gel is a sign of a bad coach. lastly the waste of the talent we have is unforgivable and he has to go.
We have a good supply of centres so we bring GI in. That's great to have him here but that doesn't fix any problems. We have talented halves but we need some grunt to get the best from them. We need two house props and a new gaffer.

| One positive from last night, I thought Gareth Widdop's hair was lovely again, how does he manage to keep it so nice when playing, does he have a barber who fixes any loose bits at half-time ?

Absolutely nailed on. Laughing and joking after the game in a playoff defeat is a kick in the teeth to us supporters, like they dont give a sh"£. Not good enough and it isnt acceptable.
Noway would Wane have that happening, noway!
