Well done Wakey you deserved it!'"
Yep.
It was an entertaining game.
Very disapointed by the result but it would have made great entertainment for any neutrals.
Webster seems to be doing a great job with limited resources.

| On a side note from someone talking about James Child......If Child is a full time referee, why does he still do TJ duties? Are the RFL crying out for more officials that much? Phil Bentham started life as a TJ, now he's an experienced full time ref he doesn't wave his flag anymore, so why do FT officials like Child, Roby, Turley and Hicks still TJ?

"Entertaining game" not from where I was standing it wasn't. Another abject performance following last week's shambles. I'm not one for booing myself, but, I don't think that all of it was directed at the match officials and a bit of discontent is creeping in.
"Great entertainment for any neutrals" as it wasn't televised I doubt that many neutrals will have caught this 'top grade' match and as everyone at the game isn't neutral hardly a massive audience to satisfy. I'm not neutral btw and was totally dissatisfied with both the result and quality on show. The only neutrals that will be entertained by this game will be those peeing themselves laughing when they saw the result on teletext
We are still in contention for the two big prizes on offer, but, if anyone thinks that this is all part of some master plan to keep Leeds and the rest of the play off teams guessing they are surely mistaken. They might even be the same folk that post that what the game is all about is momentum and that a hard run in will make us battle hardened well we can't have it all ways
For what it's worth the line that we accept defeats so that we can learn from them, is wearing thin as we clearly didn't learn much from last week.
Sorry Latch' rant over

The space around me is getting bigger every week. Anymore of this and I'll be up there with the 'phantom whistler' for ensuring there's loads of room on the 40 ha ha

Rico is correct though. To see Wire produce that sort of performance two games in a row was depressing. But if you stood back and focussed on the match as a whole, it was poor quality, with Wakey adding plenty of mistakes as well. And we will quickly skim over the reefing, where never once did I see him 'looking along' the defensive line to check players were onside. It all had a 'Rylands v Latchford reserves' feel to the game, except you were paying £14-20 for the privilege. I suspect the game in general is suffering from a double whammy; Oz players too expensive to import and a decline in the youth game, but whatever the reason it's hardly surprising that attendances at the HJ are going to have fallen two years in succession.

Well I am a concession, and then I get a further five quid off for the disability scooter. Yeh, I have to slum it in the South, and there is no electricity point for my dialysis unit, but it does make it a bit cheaper than the North.

I think that's just the policy these days. Hicks, Roby and Child regularly run the line, as do quite a few championship referees. I doubt that it is a supply issue- if that was the case adopting two two ref system in both SL and Championship wouldn't be on the agenda.
Ref the earlier tweet about Child, the touch judge can only advise the referee on a forward pass. There is always a chance that the ref has overruled a forward call from the TJ. I think warrington fans are getting a little ridiculous for screaming at the referee. It's driving me mad!
