| Listening to the radio he did some pretty good stuff from the hands & off the boot & sounded to be instrumental in some of the tries.

| Seen some "die hard" fans on Twitter posting slight digs along the lines of "Best night ever, so glad we didn't turn around. #LoyalFans"
I'd like to respond here to these comments.
1. If your coach driver decides not to turn around, that doesn't make you a more "loyal fan".
2. The vast majority of these "die hards" are 14-22 and on their Summer holidays. I, as well as many others, had to work yesterday.
3. You spent a couple of quid on a coach ticket with money provided to you by your parents. You know how much petrol and parking costs don't you?
4. Going to Away games because you're off school, have free away tickets with your Junior ST and have nothing better to do doesn't make you better than the supporters who work hard to pay £200 a year for Home games and £20 a pop for Away games.
Sorry for ranting guys and I'm not tarring everyone with the same brush but it had to be said.

| I know from experience you are wrong on all counts 1 to 4.
Except just the one point and that was all you needed to say. That we are all loyal.

I had a few specific people in mind to which they apply.
And yeah true, we are.

Thank you for your kind comments. The Wire FM commentator is my t'other half and loves the job. Friday night was tough for him as commentating on your own is a killer, no chance to grab a drink of water or take a breath. I'll pass your messages on and remember to listen every chance you get

I'd like to respond to your post.
1) We took a vote and all decided to carry on.
2) I'm 22, I'm not on my summer holidays, I graft all week in mechanical engineering.
3) I bought my own ticket, from the money I've earnt working. I have my own car and well aware of petrol and parking costs.
4) I have lots of things I could be doing, I go to ALL games home and away because I love my town and my team.
It sounds to me like you are jealous or something... Did you go to the game? Is that what it is? Are you upset because you're not getting recognition of the fact you was there as well? Here you go then, just for you so you don't feel left out:
Well done mucker, top effort to make the game in such adversity. #LoyalFan #TrueColours #WellDone

No I didn't go, I was listening on the radio and giving updates here.
My comment wasn't aimed at you specifically, it was aimed at some people I know. Sorry if you were offended by it.

| I am Karen's t'other half and have been pointed in the direction of this thread.
Would like to say well done to those who did make it on Friday, especially the coach load that walked in with about 12 minutes left. I feel the pain of those who didn't make it after being in the position myself in the past and you have my total sympathies. I'm one who hates missing games where my team is involved.
Thanks to all who contributed on Twitter on Friday night. It was like having loads of co-commentator with me at the game. I get a buzz when the tweets come in from abroad, especially the fans who are awake at stupid o'clock just to listen to the games.
Also thanks to all for the kind comments above. I know I have an important job in bringing the game to you where ever you listen. Be it in the car, at home or turning the Sky commentary off on a telly game which Karen informs me is a very popular option
I'm back next Sunday at 2pm with full live commentary of the London game, hope you can join me.

| well done to the fans that made it, i know myself how frustrating the m62 can be on a friday night!
being an fc fan we have had to do saints, widnes already and wigan in two weeks and its a ballache!
i wish clubs would see common sense, even our own, when the hull clubs play lancashire teams, to choose sundays! (unless picked for tv!)
last season it took us over 5 hours to get to warrington on a friday night, 2 hours stuck in dewsbury after diverting, we was close to turning back but decided to carry on, thankfully we arrived with 15 minutes to spare!

| I think it would be a good gesture from the club to provide free of charge a match dvd to people who could prove they tried to get there but couldn't or who arrived late due to the traffic. Blank dvds don't cost a lot these days.
