| All this speculation and we don't know who else we might sign for next year. Say, for example, we signed, Kyle Eastmond, he would also be an option for full back.

He has never quite managed to step up to the plate
I have always been a big fan of his throughout his time with us. I just think with his now playing for a contract (either with us or elsewhere) it would be great if he could earn that contract by taking his game to a whole new level.

| It really iritates me as to why all Wigan fans hate him. The lad was never given a fair chance at Wigan and was shipped out in a deal that was no fault of his own - had no say in the matter, but strangley Wigan fans hate him. It's different with Gleeson he wasn't committed and wanted to play for Wigan.

To be fair, I don't hate him at all, I liked him when he was at Wigan, I just thought that was funny so I said it
Mathers was given a fair crack of the whip at Wigan, he didn't make the cut, like he clearly isn't doing at Warrington, granted he has been better at Warrington than he ever was at Wigan.
Why do you seem to think Wigan fans hated him because he went to Wire, the Wigan fans I know hate him because of some of the dreadful errors he made, or some of the half hearted tackles he put in, like slapping Gilmour on the in Cardiff on his way to the sticks, no others spring to mind, but it's definatly not because he went to Warrington, I don't think many people really cared where he went. What your saying is you hate Gleeson because he wanted to go to a different club?
BTW I hated it when some fans cheered everytime he caught something, or booed when his name was read out on the teamsheet. Mathers is a model pro, and his enthusiasm is top notch, he has just failed to live up to his potential coming through the ranks at Leeds.

Black Backgrounds/Animal.gif To some greatness comes naturally
In Smith we trust:Black Backgrounds/Animal.gif |

| At this time and you would be a fool to feel otherwise should it be you, Mathers seems a little bitter and you can't blame him. Tony Smith has shown & proved that sentiment counts for nothing in his pursuance of glory for Warrington. Prior to the Cup final last season, Carney wrote an article for the BBC on the players. He stated Mathers was known as Richie Smith as Tony Smith loved him.
Feel for Mathers and I hope he gets what he wants in the end be it in the Super League or at Union.

I'm the same as you to be honest.
They look a close knit bunch now the players, with sincerity too. They look to take pleasure in each others success etc. They'd never have achieved this with Gleeson in the camp, he just looked a negative sort of dude.
Even Bridge looks happy nowadays, folk don't mention his moody demenour anymore, apart from when I just did.

True. You are probably going to sign Danny Tickle and Willie Manu too, but they won't be playing fullback.

| Latest Twitter news refers to a "meeting" which appears to be in Leeds tomorrow.
Can anyone (preferably with a moustache and big brown mac coat) please take the day off work tomorrow?
