I think even the biggest Briers basher (you aside), say someone like Wires71 who's been a critic over time, I think he'd even admit that Briers has more natural talent than 99% of the halfbacks that have played in SL & for GB in the last decade.
Briers talent has never been in question, his attitude & dedication have.
I've said this to you before, your sort of borderline hatred for Briers, well, it really clouds your judgement. You come across so bitter towards him, I just can't work out if this is intentional or not. |

I have always maintained Briers is mercurial. He clearly is very talented but I have questions over his application and professionalism to make it to the very top of the sport. He clearly found a comfort zone at Warrington. |

But he has made it to the top of the sport. He has played international rugby and there is no higher level. |

This is a wind up, surely? He's played for Wales a few times, but he's hardly set Test Match Rugby alight, has he? That is the point we are making, that with attitude and application, he'd have done so much more within the game.
I also think Danny Orr never fully realised the early potential he showed at Cas. |

I seem to recall the australians saying he was the best british half back they had come across in the past ten years. I'll take their opinion over anybody on this forum. (no names mentioned) |

I'm being deadly serious when i say that imo Briers is well overrated, you maybe right about my dislike for him clouding my judgment but the praise and accolades this player get's is unbelievable, he's been lucky that the past coaches think the sun shines out of his backside. |
