Richard Lewis is simply a terrible administrator. Under his command the RFL has gone from the fine profit-making institution he inherited from Rodney Walker into a loss-making joke riddled with inconsistency. Just look at the Hull FC/Challenge Cup debaclewhy didn't he apply the rules? They would have kicked them out in football.
I think we'll see Toulouse and Celtic because the rugby league couldn't organise a soirée in a brasserie. ![]()
Probably because the rules didn't exist. Everyone knew (including Hull FC) that they had done wrong, unfortunately they hadn't broken the rules...

Decision to move the Magic weekend to Scotland is on the back of the RFL decision to give the Crusaders a License next year. i.e there is no longer a need to promote the game in South Wales whilst they have a Super League side and thus allowing the game to open up new territories and bring more money into the game.
