Quote: Coops "But Reilly was on the wing!!!!'"
Granted, this week that was the case. My point kinda is that much like ourselves they have outside backs that they are struggling to work out what their best 1 - 7 is. For the past years Thorman has played 6 with the odd game at FB when injuries permit.
This year with the signings Lolesi and Elford at the minute not really cutting the mustard that has created a problem in that they are unsure what is infact their best side.
Reilly now seems to cover one wing, Aspinwall is finaly back on the other.
Brown looks more comfortable at 6 but equally was excellent back end of last year at centre.
Elford came as 1st choice winger, now to me looks a half decent centre.
Lolesi ? Not sure, jury is probabls still mixed on him.
The form of Brown and Hudson as much as anything no doubt forced Sharps hand. Hudson has been magnificent at 9 and difficult to leave out so Drew needs to be played at 7, then Browns sensational form at 6 means another reshuffle.
We don't have these luxuries, we just need fit people, when our squad is back at full strength, perhaps tactical switches of position will be made ?
It's similar with us, Bridge is a centre playing 6 but his future looks at centre, but and the but is, could he add one or two things to his game he'd be a bloody good 6. But can he...
I think Thorman has achieved more and looked better than Bridge at 6 but Bridge without doubt has the ability to eclipse him if he can develop his game as Thorman may/ may not have to at FB.
