He was the safest we have had under a bomb at fullback in a long time. While Dufty had a good game on Sunday the bomb which led to a try was his to take NOT Marty Ashtons. Dufty bottled it.

Just reading on the Guardian website that Bullock & Dean picked up injuries in the reserves game against Leeds. Luckily Minikin was impressive over 80 minutes so should be available to help us out against Hull.

The target game bring the one most likely to get a result, Hull FC, GC wanting to get Bullock right for that, but the plan glitched.
Now it’s about wether Dudson will let us down or not in this easier fixture on paper than Leeds.

This system GC is using is exactly what Paul Cullen did to get us into our first GF play off against the odds.

The fact that he played Dudson ahead of Bullock is clouding the issue. The fact that he plays Dudson at all with his stats is the issue. There were other reserve props that should been ahead of Dudson.

I totally agree Dudson is less than ideal(!) but given Chambers knows the young players far better than anyone on here I can only conclude he has good reasons.

The majority on here concluded that we needed a Director of Rugby.

What we didn`t want was for the person appointed to be a puppet for KFP who has quietly moved into the background since this season went t1ts-up.

Chambers isn`t the Director of Rugby until next season, so lets see how it goes then.
