I love tattoos and have lots, and I acknowledge that the font and latin saying does make for a nice bit of inkwork.

However, how will you people with a "motto" we've had for five minutes feel if Warrington RLFC ever give up the ghost, accept that the "Wolves" experiment has failed, and erase everything connected with it from our future?

It's never once been chanted in 15 years as far as I can recall, and we've allowed a non league football team to sneak in and steal our real nickname while we've been preoccupied with it. It must surely go eventually.

It's been nearly 20 years since we adopted the Wolves moniker, its gone waaay past the experiment stage. So even though the fans will always call us Wire, i can't see the Wolves tag going anywhere now.

It isn't a nickname but it is a brand and it won't be going anywhere.

Hardly like the whole Halifax Bluesox debacle.
