| Has the whiff of Monaghan’s coup against Cullen. If the dressing room has gone then he has to go (hopefully along with the CEO)

Also can’t help feeling the whole McGuire thing as had an impact on what’s happening in the group now.

| Powell won't be going anywhere...
There's been enough 'F' ups this season and the powers that be won't want to back down (it's my ball, and I'll play with it the way I want) attitude.
There's over 100 pages of Powell out and I know most of it is true, but nothing will change in management this season so the frustration will continue and possibly get worse.
The die hards have suffered for years and starved of success (apart from Tony Smith years)....
As a long time Warrington fan , Simon Moran please we all beg you just get rid of Powells' club members they're ruining our club.
Nothing will change in form, the players seem to have decided not to play for DP, in my opinion. All of us spend alot of money (especially in todays climate) on this club...
. Warrington board be aware if this continues then the damage WILL BE irreversible..
If you don't understand Mr Powell what's going on and you clearly don't (Quote:It’s hugely disappointing and we’re obviously not playing well at the moment.)!!!!! Then I can inform you that you're the priblem, so please step down.

| We had player power before that got rid of Tony Smith & how bad were they most of the time under Price ? They were carp before we beat Saints at Wembley & resumed their carp style of play till that season's end. And, some of those players are still with us.

Just think though TF ,that might be the week where we stand up to be counted & shaft Saints on their own midden. Priceless that would be.

| Player power works both ways. They are the ones getting hit, they are the ones who make the plays work or fail. They’re elite sportsmen. Sometimes listening helps!
It’s only “player power” when it goes wrong. Brian Mac is one of the most decorated coaches in SL, but how much coaching did he need to do? He had Sinfield, Peacock, Burrow, McGuire, Senior… if you don’t let them lead, restrict them from speaking and don’t take notice of their advice, you’re an idiot.

Not many. This is Powell's team and he constructed a noose for himself with all the bad apples thing last year. He was given free rein to hack, slash, cut and butcher the squad and this mess is now utterly his own.

This is exactly the type of pressure Id like Powell to feel. It's all too comfortable at Warrington.

He will be feeling the pressure all right. I watched Watson being
interviewed on Sky last night ... not pleasant to watch.
I'm sure he will get similar (but probably a bit less aggressive) treatment v. Leeds. I don't think Powell will be feeling comfortable at all. I saw Cullen, Smith & Price receive the same "support" from our loyal "fans" ... and it's not nice to watch. Tip Tap mentality ... that there is always somebody who
could come in & suddenly stop the players making mistakes, getting injured or playing crap (& they are v.poor at the moment but everyone can see that.)

Perhaps someone could come in an ensure we have a viable half back pairing instead of loaning them out so we can't play them? Perhaps someone who will not rip into our young players in the media? Perhaps a coach that says "I take full responsibility" instead of watching the show unfurl before he eyes as if it's an Act of God and not remotely linked to what he does with them in the week. Chaddy used to say there are 10,080 minutes in a week, make sure you use 10,000 wisely so you can be at your best for the 80 that count. What is Powell doing in those 10,000 minutes with the players? Change can be effected quickly. Were you watching in 2009? The reason I ask is that a chap called Tony Smith came into a side that was playing junk under a coach called James Lowes. I think we won the Challenge Cup for the first time in 35 years that year. Quite a turnaround in 4 months. Shows what can be done.
Oh and here we are with your favourite use of double quotes. Our fans are no worse or better than any others in the league. Ridiculous to suggest otherwise and to try and suggest it is somehow their fault. It seems you want these pages full of "chin up old bean, never mind old chaps, just bad luck is all, we will be better next week/next season/next signing and then we will show them scoundrels". Pressure is for the privileged. If hearing a few boos or reading a few home truths on the internet damages their delicate sensibilities then elite pro sport isn't for them. Soon as they accept money from a paying crowd they enter the cauldron. We have recently watched a side that have an embarrassment of riches play in the middle 8's against Championship sides, get stuffed in the playoffs 3 times at home, and then nearly get relegated in the last 6 seasons.
In closing, I should imagine some of those loyal "fans" (see I'm doing it now) you hold in contempt have watched more games, bought more season tickets, bought more merchandise, travelled to more away games than you could ever imagine and perhaps more than you have, and certainly I have. I'd have one of those fans for every 10 of those on Facebook and on here who seem to think everything is hunky dory and try and supress the real, honestly borne, feeling of anger and disappointment.
PS I am still neutral on Powell. Slip out of the top 6 and he can be gone for me.

I remember it well & I also remember just how much stick he got, towards the end from ... I reckon the same keyboard tigers, who have never been in a rugby changing room, who are twisting the knife now.

That was the period where Tony himself said he had become disallusioned with rugby, left by mutual consent after we ended up in the middle 8s having failed to win a GF in the previous 8 seasons.
Cul was different as we won nothing and had stalled for about 4 years or more. He waited too long to go and it was ugly at the end. Again Castleford
All coaches have a shelf life (save for SAF). Goes with the territory. Some win the big prizes in that time.
