Can't say i have seen him create much. Hopefully behind a more dominant pack i might see more from him. For me he's just potential atm.
Very pleased with the Atkins signing, big strong running centre.
Solomona, fantastic player, Big ,strong, great hands and a kicking game. His injuries are a concern. Hopefully will be used as impact player the same way Leeds use lauititi.'"
I thought that, he has 15 assists in SL, despite not being selected for the last couple of months.
Impressive.

If you pay £100,000 for a 29 year old (gleeson) plus a player worth (lets say) £40,000 equaling 140K do you not think another 60K for an extra 10 years worth it? If he does fulfill the potential that people are heaping on him, it is very reasonable money.

Wigan fans will have 2 guaranteed new topics a week next year. One called "Bloody Hell Mathers", and the other one "Richie Myler waste of Money!". Can't wait.

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| So Monaghan, Clarke and Higham all playing hooker next year?
I can see quite a few Wire players on their way out at the end of season to accomodate Solomona, Myler and Atkins because they won't be peanuts.
I'm against the National coash coaching a club side becasue that would be used as unfair leverage in signing a player on the verge of playing for England like Atkins and Myler.
With playing for the national coach on a weekly basis and maybe the promise of a chance in an international game would sseem a bit unfair if you ask me.

He played well for england in the friendly but he was playing in a team that wasnt really challenged. He's doesnt seem to be the class that some people think he is?'"
Oh dear. We've not even confirmed signing him yet and it's started already
The lad is 19, under Shaun McRae and playing at Salford. Give him some time under Tony Smith, behind a stronger pack and with a better half-back partner before you start moaning

King
Atkins
Riley
Briers
Myler
Morley
Monaghan
Carvell
Anderson
Westwood
Anderson
Solamona
Higham
Harrison
Cooper
Clarke
Grix

Sorry but that is some team, you not telling me all that gets under the cap?

...Interesting??...Seem to remember Wigan splashing a large amount on a 16 year old schoolboy called Shaun Edwards in the mid 80's?
Yes, the gamble certainly paid off, but surely what Wire are doing now is no big as gamble as that??....Speculate to accumalate is not a bad policy if you can afford it, and don't worry, Simon Moran can afford it...

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

Your comparing Edwards to Myler
Next you will be saying he is better than Tomkins.

| Wigan are moaning and groaning on their board about our playing roster now. Not happy that we have a good side, and are staying under the cap.
Also, Tony Smith shouldnt be he England coach cos he's buying all of Englands up and coming stars and its just not on.
Funny.
