I honestly think the great game we all love and gob off about on here every week is now at a standstill and will not improve or move forward till this poor officials week after week is not sorted out, apart from physically stabbing someone you don't get a sin bin, the refs just want to be known as the friends of any team that host the top 4 slot,, it's shocking, and to much of a regular poor performance,, it's ruining good games!!!

I've not had a chance to watch the game back (and I won't be doing in line with my sulky "we've lost so I am not bothered" ritual) but usually when you watch a game back on Sky, your opinion of the ref is much different to when at the game.

Has anyone bothered to watch it back to have a better judgement? At the game, I thought he was atrocious.

I saw the highlights programme last night & it was impossible to see the persistent offside that was being overlooked & the Masoe punch didn't even feature.

Just watched it on sky,, even more shocking was stevo and Eddie back every poor decision, proper saints love children are those 2, but it's as e on TV as it was last night,,

Name one poor decision Childs made? The Roby try was debatable, but wasn't his fault. The rest were very blatant.

tackle in mid air....both players going for the ball...eyes on the ball....penalty to Saints to get you out of your own 25....shocking decision.

Not showing the yellow to Percival for the professional foul on O'Brien ,ok it was in the 1st minute but it was a deliberate ploy as we had you on the rack down that edge.

Falling for Turners Klinsman esq dive for a penalty.

Putting Wire on a team warning for backchat to the ref, but not even speaking to the Saints captain despite Percival and Burns being guilty of it too.

I've watched it back, the first half reffing is awful, got better in 2nd half.
But if you don't want to hear Hemmings more or less cheering for Saints or Stevo creaming over Roby every 5 mins don't waste your time pal.

I had to watch it with the sound off....it was that bad.

Strange ref bias in rugby league ,in football you quite often get a home advantage with the ref , in RL it just seems to be who they perceive as the biggest team

This new system of referring to the video ref with referees opinion up front seems no less of a cop out than the old VR system...if the on field ref signals no try he should have the bottle to call it himself.
