The Escare try in the second half on the zero tackle was absolutely sublime, the best piece of individual skill I've seen all season, in one of the best performances I've seen all season.

And if anyone thinks my enjoyment of both was heightened because it was at the expense of neanderthal man's throwback and his rag-tag bunch of thugs, I find that absolutely impossible to deny.

It's a shame for Bateman as he had some talent but the other two have no skill whatsoever so niggle and cheap shots are their only attributes.
