Is this part of something wider going on, or just something Squadbuilder/Supporters Trust are doing?

I only ask as I'm aware that Huddersfield did something similar last month.

I have not done it as it really makes little difference to me personally. I work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days) this season fixtures have fallen kindly for me, ive only used a few holidays for some games.TBH its a case of you can please some people some of the time etc etc.

For me Friday evenings.
Sunday 3pm is fine but I love the atmosphere of the evening games.

For the good of the game it needs to be Sunday 3:00pm. With televised games on Friday at 8, and no cross Pennine Friday night games.
I buy a season ticket for my grandson, as I am sure many do for their kids. I tried taking him to evening games and he fell asleep. He now misses the night games, so does his Dad,who has to look after him at home.That was money well spent.

As Yed says, I prefer a good mix and wouldn't like being nailed down to one. But if I had to choose I would say that I enjoy Friday nights the most.

Further away - Sunday pm The M62 on Friday nights is hell

totally agree..i plumped for saturday nights.gives fans time to travel(yes i do know some people work).and being a creature of tradition sunday 3pm...kick out these thursday night games and go back to how it was many years ago friday and saturdays

Fridays for me. Better atmosphere at night games

Interestingly the three clubs with traditionally the biggest crowds in SL all play on a Friday night. You can also make a lot more money from hospitality during the week.

I don't buy this better atmosphere on Friday night games.. I've been to plenty of Friday night games with poor atmosphere the last game V Cas is one example.

Also before Sky started creating havoc with the fixture list we used to play Saints,Leeds,Wigan, etc on a Sunday at 3pm the away end and South Stand were full to bursting and the atmosphere was electric ..
My choice is either Sat 6pm or Sun 3pm.

Well i do not see anything changing while sky have the monopoly, would be interesting if BT sport showed an interest in super league. that said we should be grateful sky took it on in the first place.

When a game isn't on Sky I prefer Sunday at 3pm.

Sky need to drop the Thursday night games as attendances do suffer. Why don't Sky go for say Saturday around 7:30pm, and/or Sunday at 6:30pm.

Saturday evening games at 5.30 or 6.00 would cause a problem for a lot of Amateur clubs as if it is an away game then payers may prefer to go and watch the Super League game which then leaves their amateur club short

During the Summer - Saturday teatime. Makes for a great day out and no worries about work during the day or the next day, so doesn't matter if it's a further away away game.
