| I am assuming the same morons are responsible for the smoke bomb as they were the other 2 times I know they were set off(KC and Etihad in both derbies) I would expect CCTV from those 3 games could be studied and the culprit/s could be banned on the basis of that evidence.
Quote: EL CAMO "For a start its not a flare, it's a smoke bomb. Whilst it is admittedly annoying to some, it's not dangerous unless thrown. The idiot yesterday who threw it I have never seen before and is certainly not one of the usual group of fans who travel week in week out. Anyway, thankfully he was arrested trying to leave and will hopefully have the book thrown at him. The fact that he stood on some sort of exposed platform where everyone could see him before throwing it says a lot about the person.'"
Does that mean other fans have been responsible for the other smoke bombs?

As a fan of Hull FC looking forward to next week's game can I assume from this that I wont see any of the mentioned ptb slowing tactics from Warrington ? If so - great to hear.

Warrington are as up for a bit of gamesmanship as any side but deliberate holding down at the PTB is not one of our regular tactics. In fact, I'm often frustrated that we don't indulge in it more as lots of other sides get away with it.

| Having just watched the highlights, Dwyer looked good, sniping from the ruck. What was it like for the guys who were at the game, is he showing a bit more maturity to his play? Hope he comes on, I think we'll need him next season.

Its ok he decided to even it up by disallowing a perfectly good try. In all honesty Roby is one of the worst refs in the comp. looks like a rabbitt in headlights most games I've seen.

Well come on, that's a competitive field. Probably the biggest area of depth we've got in the UK, bad refs.

He looked very good, seems the spell at Hudds has increased his confidence. He made some good runs from dummy half and made very good metres. His quick PTB had Rovers defence all over the shop which set up Currie's second try (I think). Looks better than he did last year, and kept us rolling forward with some neat passing at the line. He and Clark (if he is heading our way) will make an excellent combo.

Hall was clearly in front of Burns for the kick. As soon as he got involved the ref penalised him.

Hall was at least two metres in front, had a perfect view!
However the try was disallowed for a forward pass (the last one).
Which I didn't have a good view of!

It was a forward pass. If that's the sort of rugby you get served up every week then I'm surprised that HKR get so many supporters.

| I thought HKR were very good. We were just better. One of the better sides to appear at the HJ this year IMO. Good pack and half backs let down by terrible backs.

Their own coach disagrees.
