According to both Wire FM & Radio Warrington's schedule, neither station is covering the game. So we will have to make do with joint coverage on Radio Scouse.

I listened to the Wire station for the HullKR game, it was like going back fifty years. Some old nutter grabbed the microphone and gave the commentary, or at least that's what it sounded like.

I emailed Wire FM regarding that rubbsh but they never replied. Will try to call them next week.

Is that gormless twonk Graham Lovett still "broadcasting" his "commentaries" on that channel.
If he is, I wont be listening anytime, soon.

I think it's him. As for broadcasting, I would describe it as mumbling. HKR was the worst commentary I've ever heard in any sport.

He once did a corporate Sunday in the East Stand that I attended....feeble, what I could understand of his "professional Northerner" accent, that is.

Just to clarify. Graham Lovett is from Wire FM (commercial radio based in Wigan) not Radio Warrington (community radio based in Warrington)

Radio Warrington can only be picked up on the internet at the moment and Gary and I attempt to cover all the games we can. We are (unpaid) volunteers and do it because we love rugby league and Warrington. Sometimes however work and life gets in the way andwe cannot cover games.

We will always try to post details of our broadcasts on rlfans.

If you want to comment on Warrington, we also have a Sunday sports show 3-6 where we give score updates and reports on national and local sport and chat and play music,
