I wouldn't say creating atmosphere pointless and needless, you see it on the website every week that they want a 'sea of P&B' not allowing flags hinders that a little I would say...

Don't know about anyone else, but when we beat Wigan 39-12 in September in front of a capacity crowd, I just couldn't enjoy myself at all. Kept thinking how much better it would have been if someone had been waving a bit of fabric in my face for 80 minutes! Personally I can't enjoy a game unless I am safe in the knowledge that at the bottom of the stand there is an England flag with the word 'Wire' sewed on by someone's mum.
