The drummers stand where they do because they were told back in 2004 to move. I'm sure Geordie remembers the reasoning behind it, I seem to remember it being something to do with Sky though.

As for RL Lover, he's just throwing a mardy because I wouldn't agree to meet him for a fight prior to the Leeds game.

there is plenty of room to the other side of the gantry and also sky aint there for every game.

You're not hard enough to stand near us, got be able to dodge men with 4 2 pinters without spilling any, quite a skill.

They only get in there that early so that there is absolutely no chance of them encountering any away fans.

After the game they stay behind, allowing the away fans to disperse before making a safe journey home.

You know what I mean though. If a couple of hundred (fairly loud) people decide to congregate around people who tend to dislike the fairly loudness, it's going to cause problems.

I've always thought we'd be better suited in the West Stand, as a group. I'm not sure why it was chosen to stand at the end we do.

They wanted us to be down the side so We could shout "FORWARD" Like saints do.. Unfortunately. The only thing the south stand does in unison is BOOOOOOO

Pretty sure you all decided to stand underneath the SKY big screen.

I wasn't around much back then as I lived darn sarf, so I have never been too sure why it was chosen.

Personally, for mine, I'd have the Sky screen in one of the corners and us lot in the West stand. But that's just me

The SKY screen was positioned by SKY during the stadium design. Apparently the HJ is one of the easiest stadiums in the country for them to set up at because they were involved in the design. Bit of a shame though that that came with disadvantage for large numbers of home fans. I'm sure it would be technically possible for it to go in a corner - other stadia do - but no doubt a cost would be involved.

As for moving to the West, the South Stand concourse is much better as it was intended for the home fans, so would be a shame to move out of it. The big problem with the South Stand is the steps just aren't deep enough.

Something permanent and undercover would be good in the corner. Something along the lines of the screen at Elland Road. Let's say the North West corner. It could be half filled in, with a roof.

I agree about the depth, it would have been better if it was as deep as the West stand. I always wonder if the South could be extended, to overhang the footpath behind.

I didn't mean depth as in the whole stand, I meant depth as in each terrace. That's what makes it difficult to get in and out hence people preferring to stand near the yellow steps.
