Not sure about the whole game but for our part it's absolutely awful. I can barely be d watching us on TV this season. Discipline is awful the errors are embarrassing and the style of play is the most boring I've ever seen.

Yep, cos nobody can be bothered to find sky sports mix. Let's be honest, the channel doesn't matter. We will all find the rugby to watch if we want to. And that's the problem, sky have a,guaranteed audience and it doesn't matter what f#-king channel they put the rugby on!

I’m been a season ticket holder since 2003, there’s been many periods of dissatisfaction and disillusionment following the Wire. This currently is another one, other than CC semi final game our general play and general style of attack has been wanting of late (7/8 weeks), I’m hopefully and believe in Steve Price to get us through this ‘rut’...

However, we need massive kick up the Iyestin ‘Arris if we think we can compete with Saints at Wembley and the back end of the season on current form.

Spot on mate. I feel the same way.

- Boring style of play from most teams most of the time. Five drives and kick to the corner/up n under. GB will get a severe showing up in the winter I fear.

- Repeat, repeat, repeat fixtures. Make it a 14 team league if you have to, but don’t make us play certain teams three or four times. What kind of a league does that and expects the casual fan to fork out each time? What makes a Wigan game special when it’s the third one in a matter of weeks?

- Rubbish coverage, Four or five voices vying to make the most inane comment of the evening every game, it’s embarrassing to watch with a non RL fan, I’ve mates who laugh at it.

- p155 poor officiating with regular mistakes costing sides games. Not just us. Zero credibility or respect in the people who run the league.

- Sky’s apparent disinterest in marketing us as a credible product.

- The slow, depressing death of the challenge cup.

I really could go on, but I’m starting to feel like sticking a Joy Division album on would actually cheer me up!

Cas fan here. I was saying the same yesterday before your game. I go to watch from habit, but games now lack excitement. It’s the Aussie way, the “process”, the percentages, the metres and stats etc, not the entertainment. We attracted attention in 2017 because of the entertainment, but it didn’t last.
On the subject of Catalan, they are thuggish. I’ve played the game and it’s impossible not to react.

Spot on pal the other year cas were a joy to watch like us when we had Morley briers hodgson etc but all that's gone its become robotic and about power.. And I can't see the free flowing style of rugby coming back..and don't get me started on the officiating..

40 years watching the Wire and this is the 1st season I've ever left games before the end.

I used to be excited on a match day, but not any more.

I used to record and watch every single RL game on Sky; not any more, I barely even watch Wire games now, I just watch the NRL.

Rugby League in this country is stagnating and has lost any spark it ever had. The new breed of fans seem more concerned about the "matchday experience" than watching quality RL.

I will always be a Wire, but i'm really fed up with what we and the rest of SL are serving up this season. The game needs a real shake up or it's going to die as a professional sport in my opinion.

The game has become mind numbingly boring, and we could still do the double (as highly improbable as it seems) with an awful team of robots.

Wakey fan here the game is boring and robotic no risks no flair, run to that blade of grass to get to that blade of grass. The amateur game is on its loosing teams all over the place and when we do find players who can play they coach it out of them. Loads of my mates have stopped going and I think the game needs a big rethink cause this is not excitement or entertainment

The game is just so slow now. Even without the drama at the end, yesterday's game would have lasted over two hours. I am sick to death of the game being stopped for every single injury, be it genuine or feigned. This never used to be the case. It kills the momentum of a game stone dead and makes it so boring. Even when Wire were not particularly good in the past, the games were still mostly exciting. In the late 90s we won nothing but what would I give now to see some of the tries that the likes of Kohe-Love, Henare and Roper scored, that lit up Wilderspool.
