| Why would SJM sack Smith? Ok we're not top of the league but we're a profitable business with a good business model!!! SJM's not a charity!

Why not question him the undeniable fact is the closest this club has been to being crowned champions in his life time was 1994......
He can't continue to accept this garbage being served up. ...
We are not a fine line or inches away or unlucky. ...We are out and out dog .
He is arguably the richest of the money men in this league and he's down in the relegation zone. ....

| Just to make it clear im not asking him to throw money at it. it may cost money to get a top class coach but thats it. Why was it assumed im asking him to spend, im saying as the tip man at the club he needs to change things.

Absolutely. Enough money has been thrown at Project Wires and the recent returns have been negligible. I can't imagine he achieved business success by turning a blind eye to continued failure, inability to perform and without having a business plan and like it or not, professional RL is a business.
Furthermore, if you were TS/RA this morning what would you say to the players? At the point of the Philbin "obstruction" we were in the ascendancy. One decision against you, heads down and a maudlin, self-pitying second half ensues. So do you go through the same training routine? Do you give the players a tongue lashing? Do you send a couple to Rochdale? Pummel them in training or give them a extra day off?
Sadly, having tried every combination of the above with no discernible improvement the only remaining solution seems to be a change in approach, coaching, fresh faces and a few home truths. If not for sporting reasons, then for business reasons because at the moment our stock has never been lower.

| If the board were not going to sack him after 0/6 and bottom of the league they aint going to do it now. I do question the ambition of the executive leadership of our club.

Steady on - you'll upset those who embarrassingly claim we were 'champions' in 2011 and 2016. We finished top of the pile but that doesn't make you champions in Super League I'm afraid.
Either way, surely we came closer in 2012/13/16 than in '94?

| Talking of chucking Money at stuff.......He isn't pulling up trees in his current role But I'm quite happy to sack Smith today and pay this fellers current Club for his services...
But who is it....???
[iHis first competitive match in charge of was their defeat in the 2012 World Club Challenge.
In the 2012 season, His first as an NRL head coach, the club came to within one game of the grand final but lost to Melbourne.
In the 2013 NRL season, He guided them into the Grand Final against the Sydney Roosters. In a controversial game in which there were many contentious decisions made by referees Shayne Hayne and Ben Cummins, the Roosters ran out 26-18 winners in front of 81,491 fans at Sydney's ANZ Stadium.
he was fined AU$10,000 by the NRL following his press-conference after the team had lost their Round 23 game to South Sydney. He had been unhappy with a number of refereeing decisions during the game, won 22-10 by the Rabbitohs, and had famously called for an investigation.[/i
worth genuinely going for... or have I sunk so low watching this dirge I'm desperate for a change...???
