I would have Penny in my side over Evans every single day of the week and twice on a matchday.

I would put money on that fact that most Super League defences would be more worried about Kev's pace and footwork than Russell or Evans hitting it up to the first defender.. When he plays he scores so for christs sake Tony play the bloke..!

Speaking to somebody at the GF and the only thing which needs to change for him to get in the side is his attitude. Why people act as though Smith has some vendetta against penny is baffling, Russell and lineham are both comfortably better players.

I could see an argument for penny over evans on the wing because evans doesn't offer anything in attack.

I'm sorry, but your first 5 words are complete testicles (imo), if you're comparing him to any other wingers in SL. He's no more a liability than anyone else. More a convenient excuse to be used, when any tries are scored within 10M of his touchline. FFS, I've seen him "hung out to dry" by the Beatified Matt King, more times than I care to mention (particularly that incident @Stains, about 7 years ago).

Yes, he misses tackles, every winger does. I've also seen him put in some crackers.
