| I'm not sold on Gidley yet. He can shine but he can also be awful, in every aspect of his game. Can't wait for Sandow to get back.

| Both have to play for me, they compliment each other
Sandow is the spark but his work rate and tackling are his weaknesses, Gidley is the organiser and has good game management but today unfortunately it looked like old Father Time was catching up with him
The whole team lost momentum and concentration just before half time and on the day Cas wanted it more and deserved the victory from their second half performance

| We are by no way a one man team but Sandow is the catalyst of this team. The results prove this, just hope he isn't rushed back to early, still slot of rugby to play

| You don't know Gidley might be playing with an injury and being asked to play with injection, i think to date he has been fantastic for us this year, i do agree he has his off days and yesterday was one of them but you tell me a player that doesn't.
For some reason i think our problem at the moment is fitness throughout the team, we have won games through our fitness in the last quarter of the game on a number of occasions this season. If there is anyone in the team thats just not doing it for me this year and seems to cost us points nearly every time he plays is Lineham. If we are or want to be a so called top team we shouldn't be using valuble salary cap on the likes of, Wheeler, Dodds and Bailey to sit out half to most of the season.

| I got shot at for dearing to mention it last month but I stand by it.
Gidley is battle worn. He is looking weiry, and he is having very average or poor games of late.
He needs more room to attack, and being up with tight play he gets shut down or forced in play and he is getting found out defensively.
He needs shifting in to a pivot position the first opportunity we get Imo. Just behind play as a fullback is his ideal spot. Gidley is NOT a bad player, he is class and we need him and his leadership qualities.
I think Kurt won a lot of support for him being the hb with his partnership with Sandow during Ratchford's injury, but Ratchford also looked to be superb partnering Sandow in the final matches of 2015 also.
So the everything points to Sandow being the key to a great hb partnership whether it be Gids or Ratch, it doesn't matter which.
So play to our strengths and when we have all 3 back. We really do need to look at playing Ratchford at 6, Sandow at 7 and Gidley at 1.
Christ it even says it on the tin!!!

| Not been a fan if ratchford in half's but I would have him n gid alternating between fb n hb. Gids would probably been rested through his knocks had sandow not been injured. He needs a few games break to recover for me.

| sandow is the best player in the league, Gidley has been brilliant so far but yesterday was his worst game for us. The mistakes were uncharacteristic from what we have seen so far so maybe he is carrying a knock. Both players are very important to us.

| I am not convinced on Sandow, he doesn't seem a serious player and always seems to be messing around or playing the fool off the pitch. He plays a good game but looks for the showmanship rather than basic play, I just hope I am wrong on him when he comes back

| In all honesty ,Sandow looks good at SL standard, but if he really was "that good" he would be plying his trade in NRL as would all imports from down under.

As opposed to Mike Cooper, for example, who looked good (on a favourable day) at SL standard but has been outstanding in the NRL? Or Phil Blake who was a very good utility player in the NRL but absolutely superb for us? One size doesn't fit all, and the expansiveness of the English game probably suits Sandow more than thirteen-man robot it's a knockout NRL-a-thon.
And, frankly, when Sandow is getting bagged, I know we've hit rock bottom as a fanbase.
Gidley & Sandow - best HB partnership in SL? Winners of the SL player of the month awards consecutively? Ringing any bells?

| Sandow was a scapegoat for the ills at his club in the NRL.
He is very definitely good enough to be still playing in Australia. Whether he would want to though is a different matter.

| I think it's probably that Sandow is very suited to our preferred style of play, when we have the bodies to be able to fire on all cylinders.

| Ha ha seriously If sandow was that good he would still be in the nrl??
No he was scapegoated for eels poor performances by fans and media!! He was singled out for criticism by sterling, eels royalty and was being asked to playi in away he was not comfortable with and went against his natural game.
He was a massive signing for paramatta at the time and was believed he alone would restore the glory they had during the 80s probably would have if they adapted to him rather than asking him to adapt to them!!

| Sandow has already proved himself to be one of, if not the, most skillful and exciting players in Super League. He has the X-Factor that gets you on the edge of your seat every time he gets the ball and is one of those players who can make the best defenses look stupid.
Personally, I couldn't care less whether or not he is good enough to still be playing in the NRL, whether he was forced out of Parramatta because of his attitude or salary cap issues or whether he picks his nose. I'm just thankful that he wears Primrose & Blue.

You must be a right bundle of fun. Cheer up man. Must check Sandow's contract ... fancy any player playing with a smile on his face and playing the fool of it.
