chairman should worry about the clubs stability and finances, if the players arent performing then leave it to the coach to do the job hes getting paid for

tbh, I can't imagine two more dissimilar characters than Moran & Koukash, and I intend that as a huge compliment to Simon.

Chairman manages the Business, the coach manages the team.....end of.

Coincidentally, I remember our Chairman apologising to all and sundry in Perpignan two years ago for what was a shocking performance.

The "embarassing" aspect of the performances this year have been that, even with the notable personnel changes since last year, we know that [imost [/iof the players are individually and collectively capable of so much better. That, and certain sections of the RL media and community are reveling in our apparent fall from grace.

I was told that the atmosphere within the club was "crisis mode" followings the Saints game and Murph's rant in the sponsors lounge, but since then things have calmed down a lot.

I think it is best for directors etc to stay quiet, unless things do get bad as with Saints last year. One criticism I have held the past couple of years is that from a purely selfish perspective, after games like Widnes last year or Saints last month I want to hear the coach come out and say it wasn't good enough, not list a load of positives that apparently came from it.

Assuming that's directed at me, I do actually, and I also know that it is the owner wields the power in our hierarchy since the chairman at Wires is a non-executive post as the person in question is also CEXEC at one of major stakeholders.

I'm all for Marwan being vocal about the general game but vocal about the team? I'm with you, it undermines the coach and it gives the impression to the players that it isn't the coach they have to impress just the chairman. Chairmen control everthing away from the pitch and coaches on it and that's the balance it should be.

Paul is just a very angry little man, I wouldn't worry. He will disappear for a few weeks now only to shout at someone else in a few weeks time.
