Not really, and I apologise if you thought it was. I would suspect that he probably put them somewhere that either obstructed views or sponsors adds. They also have some fairly draconian match day rules at OT, as do most Premier League Clubs.

Happens every away game, he puts them over adverts then gets himself into a barney with the stewards when they say to take em down.

Apology accepted.Yeah i initially thought that was the reason but the boards only had ExtraordinaryRL or something of that nature + that was all around the stadium.Like you say probably more relaxed in the rugby stadiums than the football ones.

I can understand them wanting to have the Extraordinary RL adverts in full view. It needs to be really pushed.

It would either be due to blocking adverts, blocking emergency sigange or the fact that as part of the ground rules (same as the HJ and Wembley) flags over a certain size can only be displayed if they have been fire tested and certified. Imagine who quickly a piece of cloth the size of those would cause damge/injury if some drunken idiot decided to set fire to one corner.

Maybe he was told Millwall weren't playing so his godawful flags were inappropriate for the occassion.

there was some leeds fans(chavvy type teenagers)sat in the next block up maybe they had something to do with him taking them down because they were a pain during the whole game

It could also have been because of the size of them they hung down that much they blocked the view of the people at the back of the lower tier in the Stretford End

He's a tool. Keighley away, he spent the whole first half putting flags up. Even started whining because we wouldn't move from against the back wall or help him put them up. Should just ban the idiot from taking the crap things in.
